One in 5 Americans think the sun revolves around the earth. If we're intent on being that stupid, we deserve whatever we get.
Because at it's core, the web is pluralistic, not authoritarian... but read it for yourself.

It is too easy—and too partisan—to simply place the blame on the policies of President George W. Bush. We are all responsible for the decisions our country makes. We have a Congress. We have an independent judiciary. We have checks and balances. We are a nation of laws.
Elsewhere on the 'vine there's an article asking "What's the worst song lyric ever?" It seems to me that thinking of bad lyrics is a lot like making teenagers depressed – it's just too easy.
